Looks like a certain band has a case of the giggles...
~~Murder by Death are an American rock and roll band. They are on a European headlining tour in support of their latest album “Good Morning, Magpie” – available on Vagrant Records or from their website. They are graciously documenting their adventures for Postcard Elba.~~

5/27. “Meeting up with friends”
German shows have been fun! Smaller (but not worse) crowds than usual due to an extremely high amount of traffic. Every night we competed with bands we know or have heard of. Tuesday in Cologne we went up against Ted Leo, Against me and another show I can’t remember who… Broken social scene? Either way we ended up partying after the show with ted leo who was very nice. After the Hamburg show we partied with old friends Against Me! Who seemed in high spirits. Nice to see them. We caught up and drank deep into the night, ending with matt carrying james on his shoulders back to their bus and dropping him in the middle of the street. Good times.
5/31. 11:37pm. En route to Amsterdam “Temporary Tourmare”
Been having fun on tour but the last few days have been kinda brutal. Showed up in Prague 2 hours late because GPS didn’t work in Czech Republic. Show was very small but in the end quite fun- the crowd was animated. The next morning Gps didn’t work in prague and our directions were wrong so it took us 2 hours to get out of the city- add that onto an already 9 hour drive to Amsterdam and its a hell of a day. Just found out from a friend our hotel doesn’t have parking and is awful and cramped and dirty. So we have that to look forward to in 45 minutes when we get there.
Just found out the club in Paris was shut down two days ago. Luckily got on another show but it’ll be different to open instead of headline. Things aren’t bad, but just kinda frustrating to deal with when you’re tired. I’m sure it will pick up again soon and spirits will improve. Besides, only 3 weeks left in this 3 month tour!
