Sadly, obscurity went to their heads.
A friend’s post about the need for more sci-fi love songs (true, true) reminded us of one of our favorite bands, who unfortunately are no longer around, The North Atlantic and their song “Scientist Girl”. They never got the props they deserved when they were still rocking faces off, but we’d like to do our part. Check out the video for “Scientist Girl” and “Bottom of This Town” – a song we probably put on about 45 different mix cd’s for friends when it first came out. So if you only have time to check out one of the songs, check that one out. Then make time and check out “Scientist Girl” too.
