This Day in Music History (Sort Of)

It was this day in 1933 that Frederick Henry Royce, who with Charles Stewart Rolls founded the luxury British automaker Rolls-Royce, died at the age of 70 in England.

How will we pay musical tribute to this great visionary?

Why, with the classic 70’s disco-funk of Rose Royce of course!

And just because we find this song and video incredibly odd, we feel compelled to include it.  Apparently Missy Elliott and Christina Aguilera covered Rose Royce’s biggest hit for an animated film called Shark Tales.  Enjoy?
