This Day in Music History (Sort Of)

Our pals over at History.com let us know that it was this day in 4977 B.C., that the universe was created. At least according to German mathematician and astronomer Johannes Kepler, considered a founder of modern science.

Now I’m sure there are political opponents to the universe who would demand to see the birth certificate, but seems as good a day as any to celebrate, no? Check out the rest of Kepler’s story and some musical tributes to the universe below. Some awesome, some funny and some something else. We highly recommend checking out the first one at least. You’ll see what we’re talking about.

Where The Internet Took Us

We posted on Blitz the Ambassador a few weeks back when he offered a free track from his upcoming album Native Sun. Well this time, you can stream the album in it’s entirety one full week before the release and watch footage director Terence Nance filmed while they were shooting the short film of the same name, as well as some amazing stock footage of Africa.
