The B-Side: Brett Newski
“I Should’ve Listened to Ferris Bueller” is the first single off of Brett Newski‘s It’s Hard to Be a Person: the Soundtrack to the book, and the video is a charming commercial of sorts for said book, also created by Newski. The song features one of his musical heroes, Steven Page from Barenaked Ladies, and like many a BNL tune this song balances a melancholic heart with humor and the catchiest of catchy songwriting.
