The B-Side: Siydock

Usually when you describe a song as dreamy, it’s lush and esoteric, but “Halve” by Siydock plays out as a different type of dream energy. Comprised of percussive acoustic guitar and reverbed out layered vocals it still feels otherworldly but also frenetic and restless. This is twisting up the sheets dreamy psych folk along the lines of John Frusciante’s solo work, and it compels you to repeat listens to uncover the secrets within.
