And so comes to an end another work week of the usual highs and lows of this human existence. Time to kick back and relax and what better way to do it than with “Track Shoes” by Leon In The Wild. Lush and groovy (in the indie rock sense) with a sardonic streak there’s a definite vibe that Leon is a descendent of Grandaddy (see what we did there) but there’s also a healthy dose of underrated pop rock geniuses Self in the mix as well. This is not to say that LITW is derivative of those two great acts, but rather stands shoulder to should with them.
