We get our fair share of instrumental tracks sent our way, what with us having a dedicated column to that wide and diverse genre and all. We’re hard pressed to remember a track that balances groove and chaos as well as The Bodies Obtained does with “Dilly Dally.” Most instrumental artists try to create a sense of space but TBO is all about movement with this one. It’s a hip swiveling electro strut with the occasional glitch spasm that keeps you on your toes. Throw in a breakdown that subverts expectations and you have one of the more interesting tracks this column has had in a while.
