Where the Bus Pass Took Us
While homebodies by nature, we do regularly muster the single malt courage to go out into the world and experience music in the flesh, and we document these excursions in Where the Bus Pass Took Us.
Last night we caught Brooklyn’s The Woes, along with local stalwart Sam Lowry, as they came through town to The Bishop. Our camera was not as charged as we thought it was and so after shooting a couple of songs from the Lowry set we were only able to get one from The Woes, but we still wanted to share. Check them out below.

E-Postcard From The Woes
Not only do we love The Woes, but it looks like they love us back. They sent us an E-Postcard this weekend from the road. Guess somebody has a little time on their hands to Google themselves….
A Different Kind of Summertime Blues – The Woes On Tour Now

Joey Lawrence and Keanu Reeves have been singing their praises for years.
One of our absolutely favorite live bands of all time, Brooklyn’s The Woes is bringing the goods and the goodness to a few select cities starting today. Known for occasionally backing up Elvis Perkins in Dreamland on tour and for kicking eighteen kinds of ass in their own sets, the Woes somehow remain one of the most criminally un-famous bands of our generation. So we’re doing our small part to change that.
Check out the list of lucky towns and a video of the band in full ass-kicking glory after the jump.
